Dredging - "The Bergmeier"


The Bergmeier auger dredge is specifically designed for lagoon de-sludging operations. The dredges utilise a winch system for movement within the Lagoon.
The winch system provides the operator with a means to accurately and systematically dredge the entire floor of the Lagoon, even in strong windy conditions.

The Bergmeier dredge is fitted with a 4 metre wide auger head that concentrates the sludge at the pump suction.
This results in substantially higher solids output than with conventional dredges.

For unscreened lagoons that contain rubbish and debris, the Bergmeier dredge also has a 1.5m macerator attachment that can be fitted between the auger head and pump suction.

One dredge is fitted with a GPS based control system that accurately plots the area dredged within the pond.

Bergmeier Environmental and sister company Bergmeier Engineering design and build the dredges and associated equipment.

Dredging - "The Mudcat"


The MudCat auger dredge is fully self-contained and compact enough to manoeuvre in tight quarters. The MudCat can float in as little as 525mm of water and causes minimum turbidity which allows pond to remain in use.

The MudCat is a versatile system for efficient, cost-effective removal of sludge, residuals and other types of waste.

Dredging - "The Pelican"


The Pelican auger dredge is self contained, self propelled for optimum manoeuvrability and can operate in less than one metre of water.

The Pelican is lightweight at less than 6 tonnes and easily transportable.
