Bergmeier Environmental own a fleet of six dredges.

3 x Bergmeier built Auger Dredges
Specifically designed for lagoon de-sludging operations


  • 9.6m long by 3.4m wide hull. Overall operating length of dredge is 12.15m.
  • 4m wide auger head
  • Optional 1.5m macerator attachment fitted between the auger head and pump suction
  • Enclosed air conditioned cabin for operator comfort
  • 4 hydraulic winches for manoeuvring
  • 300hp diesel engine (Caterpillar or Perkins)
  • Warman 200/150mm or Warman 250/200mm sludge transfer pumps with various impellers to suit the particular project

2 x Mudcat Dredges
Self-contained & allows pond to remain in use


  • 10.3m long by 2.8m wide hull. Overall operating length of dredge is 11.9m.
  • 2.5m wide auger head
  • Enclosed cabin for operator comfort
  • Winches for manoeuvring
  • 228hp diesel engine (Detroit)
  • 200/150mm sludge transfer pump

1 x Pelican Dredges
self propelled via a hydraulically driven rear mounted propeller


  • 7.7m long by 2.5m wide hull. Overall operating length of dredge is 9.3m.
  • 2.2m wide auger head
  • Enclosed cabin for operator comfort
  • Self propelled for optimum manoeuvrability
  • 71kW diesel engine (Cummins)
  • 100mm sludge transfer pump
